After a successful funding campaign closing out 2014, The Watah School begins the new year with renewed vigor. We have been invited by IndieGoGo to continue accepting your contributions to building The Watah School. It takes an incredible amount of resources to provide tuition-free training without any private or government funding. The Watah School depends on your individual generousity to continue our mentorship.
to continue supporting love-o-lutionary works of (he)art!!!
THANK YOU FROM THE DEPTHS OF OUR BEING FOR THE LOVE!!!
Black Skins White Masks performed by the Performing Arts Training Intensive, directed by d’bi.young anitafrika and composed by PRIM3TIM3 LIV3, is inspired by Frantz Fanon’s book of said title. The piece is a movement based artistic exploration of our collective humanity and was presented at The Watah School’s Mikey Smith Raw Works Festival in December 2014.
