“At The Watah School I experience the extraordinary and I am a conduit for others to feel that too.”

– Halima Nuri

Biography

Born in Uganda to Rwandese parents, Halima’s work is informed by her experiences as the oldest child of immigrants. She has been in love with the written word for as long as she can remember and credits it for allowing her to be the person she is sometimes too afraid to show. It is with immense joy that she joins The Watah School to continue to learn and walk within her purpose as an artist, storyteller and healer.
